Where these prices come from. We couldn't check a menu published by Frank Cachapas itself, so the prices below come from a third-party menu listing (Checkle, updated November 2025). Two of them, Frank 2 and Frank 6, match prices reported by FIU's Caplin News around the same time. Food-truck prices change often, so treat these as a guide and check the board at the truck.
Sources reviewedOctober 25, 2026Menu terms: queso de mano is a soft Venezuelan hand-stretched cheese (a "round" is one whole disc of it); nata is Venezuelan cream; grated cheese is queso rallado; yellow cheese is queso amarillo.
The listing covers cachapas and patacones only. Reviews also mention arepas (including a fried arepa frita), tequeños and empanadas, plus a separate pizza truck on site, but we don't have prices for those.
Recognition
- In 2025, The New York Times included Frank Cachapas' cachapa on its list of the 23 best restaurant dishes its writers ate across the U.S., as reported by Miami New Times.
- The Infatuation rated the truck 9.0 in its 2024 review.
What reviewers suggest ordering
- First visit: The Infatuation points first-timers to the all-cheese cachapa. On the 2025 listing, the cheese-only versions are Frank 6 (full round of queso de mano) and Frank 8 (half round).
- With meat: Miami New Times highlights the cachapa with fried pork (Frank 2 on the listing), and The Infatuation praises a shredded-beef version (Frank 10 on the listing).
- Beyond cachapas: The Infatuation recommends the patacón made with sweet fried plantain, and the arepa frita.
